In this episode of Mental Health Verses, I’m joined by Kelly Salas, who is a vocalist, musician and music educator for the Buffalo Public School System.
Kelly speaks about a variety of her experiences growing up, her discovery of music, finding sobriety, and having a congenital heart disorder, all of which have served to strengthen her mental health.
The songs Kelly discusses on this episode that support his mental health are:
“When He Sees Me” by Sara Bareilles from the Broadway musical, Waitress which had its debut in 2016
“Batti, Batti, O Bel Masetto” – by Mozart (from the opera Don Giovanni)
“Make You Feel My Love” from the album “19” by Adele
